Biography

Katharine is the International Public Policy Manager for AirBnB. Previously, Katharine worked at the NYU Stern Center for Business and Human Rights, where she focused on how tech companies can protect human rights in their core operations. Before NYU, she was part of the inaugural team developing internet freedom policy and programs at the US State Department. From 2014-17 Katharine served as co-chair of the Freedom Online Coalition’s multistakeholder working group on privacy and transparency. She holds a bachelor’s degree from Yale and a masters degree in international relations from Georgetown.
